 Bed and Breakfast Reservations: A deposit equal to one night's lodging is required at time of making a reservation. Visa or MasterCard may be used for the deposit. Cash, money order or personal checks are also accepted for payment of the balance with credit card information as a guarantee.
Rooms are available by reservation only. There is no minimum stay requirement. During weddings or other events rooms are available only to the wedding party and their guests.
Room rates are based on double occupancy. There are no accommodations for additional guests in any of the rooms. Room rates include a full breakfast served by candlelight in the dining room or on the veranda. All room rates are subject to a 12% Connecticut Room Tax.
 Cancellation Policy: If for some reason you must cancel a reservation we request 14 days notice. Your deposit (less a 20% processing fee) will be refunded only if we are able to re-book the entire length of your reservation. There is no refund for no-shows or early departure. There is no refund for cancellation due to inclement winter weather. This is New England and it snows here!
Normal check-in time is between 3 and 5PM and check-out time is 11:00AM. It is not a problem if you are going to be here any earlier or later, however, please call us so that we can make appropriate arrangements for your arrival.
 We maintain a full NO SMOKING policy. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the inn or on the porches or veranda. Evidence of smoking or smoke odor in the rooms will result in a cleaning fee of $250.00 charged to your credit card.
A Cardinal House is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
We maintain a NO PET policy. Our black, short-hair cat, Midnight, is in residence and prefers that you leave your animals at home.
